2014 Sheriff’s Charity Ride Information

Sheriff Doug Cox is pleased to announce the Eighth Annual Johnson County Sheriff's Charity Ride” will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2014. Riders will once again assemble at the Franklin Wal-Mart store with registration beginning at 8:00 a.m. This year, the ride will benefit Riley Hospital for Children, Johnson County Special Olympics, COTA (The Children's Organ Transplant Association) and other charitable funds in our community.

Sheriff’s Ride Sponsorship Tax & Legal Information:

The Annual Johnson County Sheriff's Charity Ride is a 501(C)(3) organization and contributions are tax deductible as allowed by law. (See below for our Federal Tax ID number) In compliance with statutes, our Charity Ride/Poker Run is a licensed gaming event through the Indiana Gaming Commission.

How can my business/organization help Sponsor this event?

Sheriff Doug Cox is asking for the assistance of the business community to once again make this annual Sheriff’s Ride a success, and we need your help! Your business or organization can participate in one of the following categories:

Title Sponsor - $3,500
Includes 10 VIP tickets to the ride, Title sponsorship mention in all our advertising which will include your company logo displayed prominently as the Title Sponsor on all posters, brochures, and banners and on the front of the ride T - Shirt directly associated with our Charity Ride Logo.


Platinum Sponsor - $3,000
Includes 8 VIP tickets to the ride, sponsorship mention in all advertising with your company logo prominently displayed on all posters, brochures, banners and on the front of the ride T-Shirt.


Gold Sponsor - $2,000
Includes 6 VIP tickets to the ride, sponsorship mention in our advertising with your company logo displayed on all posters, brochures and prominently displayed on the top-rear of the ride T-Shirt.


Silver Sponsor - $1,000
Includes 4 VIP tickets to the ride, sponsorship mention in our advertising with your company logo on posters, brochures and prominently displayed on the rear of the ride T-Shirt.


Friend Of The Sheriff Sponsor - $500
Includes 2 VIP tickets to the ride, your company logo displayed on posters and brochures and on the rear of the ride T-Shirt.


Appreciated Sponsors - less than $500
Business name will be listed in a "Thank You" ad with all sponsors following the Charity Ride and in some advertisements.

All Sponsors of the Charity Ride will be mentioned in a listing in the Daily Journal following the Charity Ride.
