Interested in becoming a Reserve Deputy Sheriff in Johnson County?

Becoming a Reserve Deputy requires a great time commitment. New recruits accepted into the program must go through the Johnson County Sheriff's Reserve Deputy Academyr. The course lasts approximately six months; recruits are required to attend classes Tuesday and Thursday nights. Required attendance events are also scheduled every other Saturday throughout the academy course.

Recruits will leave the Reserve Academy with a fundamental knowledge about law, law enforcement procedures, and many other facets of criminal justice.
