Ironic, isn't it?
The above photograph shows the sign Sheriff's Deputies observed when an older
model Pick-up truck was removed from where the operator had impaled it into a
very large Indianapolis Power and Light utility pole on Peterman Road south of
County Line Road near the Friendly Village Trailer Park. When Deputies
arrived, they observed a truck smashed into the pole, which had been split in
half. The transformer fell and exploded and the live arcing power lines
crossed the railroad tracks, causing the crossing arms, bells, and lights to
activate. Once the power company arrived and made the situation safe, the
wrecker driver began recovering the truck, which is when we could see the sign
inches above where the truck struck the pole: "CASH FOR JUNK CARS AND TRUCKS..."
