Detectives seek information on
White River
Township Burglary Suspects
On Tuesday, January 20, 2007 between noon and 1:00p.m, a male and female duo
burglarized two homes in White River Township. The residence is located in the
Southwind Subdivision in the 3800 block of Southwind Terrace, off of Fairview
Road. Forced entry was accomplished by breaking out a basement window on the
rear of the home.
On Tuesday, January, 20, 2007, between noon and 1:00p.m, a similar burglary also
occurred in the 1800 block of Lanarkshire Drive in the Highland Park Subdivision
of White River Township off of Olive Branch Road. Forced entry was again gained
by prying open a basement window.
The male suspect was in a hurry to flee this burglary scene, as he dropped a
stainless 3” bladed boot knife with a unique wooden handle and black leather
sheath inside the home.
The male suspect enters the homes while the female waits outside by the getaway
car. Residents are encouraged to report if they see any similar suspicious
activity, especially if the activity involves an Avocado Green color late
1990’s two door passenger car.
The male is described as a white male, about 5’6” tall, about 145#, with short
well kept brown hair; He was wearing a brown heavy jacket.
The female is described as a white female, about 5’5” tall, about 125#, with
brown collar or shoulder length hair; she was also wearing a brown heavy jacket.
Sheriff’s Detectives
request that residents home during the daytime in White River Township
Subdivisions remain extra vigilant and that those residents report suspicious
activity immediately to the Sheriff’s Office by simply calling 9-1-1. Anyone
that has any tips about the identity of these burglars or information on the
owner of the dropped boot knife are asked to call Detective Bryan Wolfe at
