Sex Offenders: Who must register?
Sex Offenders: Who must Register?
The Sheriff's Office has been
receiving several calls recently regarding the Indiana Sex Offender Registry.
By state statute, any person convicted of a sexual offense must register in
each county where they
work, reside, or attend school. The
offender is given 7 days to either notify in
writing or visit the Sheriff's Office if he or she is moving or experiencing a
change of address of their work, home, or school.
The Sex Offender Website is
orchestrated by the State of Indiana and is available for viewing by clicking on
